*Found: Shinishi Imanaka

Shinichi Imanaka es un ilustrador y pintor japonés. Vive en Kobe, nació en 1966 y estudió cine en el instituto de arte de Chicago donde además tomó cursos de dibujo y pintura. Luego de vivir en Estados Unidos, volvió a Tokyo donde cumplió su sueño y se dedicó al arte. Luego de realizar una serie de retratos para una agencia japonesa llamó la atención de distintos directores de arte y luego de esto, se estableció para trabajar como ilustrador freelance. Hasta la fecha tiene un trabajo con una identidad muy original, un amplio portafolio y muchas exposiciones.
Una de sus ultimas participaciones fue Space Stories, que se realizó en Beijing junto con 8 artistas en la exhibición de Sarus Living, una tienda de decoración que abrió sus puertas y realizó actividades fuisionando el diseño y el arte.
*Shinichi Imanaka is a Japanese painter and illustrator. He lives in Kobe, was born in 1966 and studied film in the Art Institute of Chicago where he also took courses of drawing and painting. After living in USA, he came back to Tokyo where he achieved his dream and dedicated to art. After making a series of portraits for a Japanese agency, he caught the attention of different art directors, and after that, he established himself to work as a freelance illustrator. To this date, his work has a very original identity, a grand portfolio and many exhibitions.
One of his latest participations was Space Stories, that took place in Beijing among other eight artists in the Sarus Living exhibition, a deco-store that opened its doors and started activities mixing art and design.
